Hi list,
on an old dos computer I still have from the early 90s, I still have an old football club management game, called soccer manager, made in about 1991 I believe, by new era software. The game is entirely text based, the idea is that you are the manager of a football club, you can't actually control players while they are playing matches, but you can influence all other aspects of club management, which will affect how the matches go, so for example resting players when they are injured, upgrading your clubs physio,
add seats to, or remove seats from your stadium,
by and sell club shares to raise income,
by and sell players on markets, place bets on matches and probably lots of other stuff I have forgotten. Basically the idea is about controlling practically anything to do with football club management but you don't have to really know much about football.
You can even create your own custom teams and players if you like.
\so, would there be any interest in me approaching the guy who ported desteno games to iOS, and see if he might want to give this game the same treatment if its possible. I have no idea how practical making it run under iOS would be, but thought I would throw the idea out there just to get an idea of interest before approaching him.
