Hello from ron Kolesar and four pawed navigator Leader Dog Boz.
The optional stop works best if you're driving for a company and not as a independent trucker.
Throw your application to a trucking company of your chice.
I drive for Big mountains or mountain express.
We're fith in lines of all of the companies.
The best way to use the optional stop is like this.
You see in the contract section in view my compay there's where the contracts or at.
You have both active contracts and completed contracts.
Before clicking on that link, up and or down arrow and you'll see the current contract that the company is hauling for.
But the point is this.
Check out the destination and the departure cities.
Then go to view my company and there you'll see all of your terminals.
If the termail is 70 miles or less, then go ahead and use it.
but if it is 70 miles and longer than 70 miles, then that optional city is roughly to far to use. I was taought that the 70 mile is the longest that you really want to drive for. You really don't want to drive any further out of your way for that optional stop over. When you find that terminal that you like that is just under 70 milres or the closes to the lenth of the run with out the optional stop over. Then throw that in the option stop over then go down and select your run and drive it like you normally wo0uld. For example though, I use JAWS as my screen reader and JAWS will tell you when you come to a stop over.
Hope this helps but if you have questions, pleaw write.
See you out on thehighway and byway.

P.S.
If you don't know it.
For each IP address you can have up to four characters.
For example, my brother and I share our IP address, even though we have two different machines and our own e-mail address.
This means that he can have two characters and I can have two characters.
If just one of us were using the IP address, then either I could have four characters or my brother could then of course could have had four characters if he would have like.
So hope that helps out.

Subject: [Audyssey] truckingsim help?

Hi all,

To anybody out there that plays or may play trukz.

Am doing relatively ok with it but there's a couple things that I haven't as
yet worked out.

For example, I haven't worked out yet how to best make use of the optional
stop. The reason for this is because of not knowing the best place to stop
between my origin point and my destination. Is there a way of working this
out and also knowing when you're at the optional stop so you can refuel etc?
the optional stop lets you refuel without using your stamina points.
