Setting Goldwave 5 to record in unbounded mode is very easy to set. In
Goldwave 5 if you press f11 to bring up the Control Properties, and
then control+tab to the Recording page you'll find what you are
looking for. At the very end of the Recording Control Properties is a
radio button called Record Mode. If you down arrow a couple of times
you'll come to Unbounded. Tab to ok and its set.
