I wouldn't mind dosfrotz built for windows in fact i wouldn't mind
dos hugo built for windows console same with tads.

Agreed. I'm currently running Winfrotz on a Win 7 64-bit computer and
while the Sapi support is a bit patchy as you say its not bad. In
addition, if people would like a copy of Dosfrotz I might look into
building a 64-bit compatible version for Win 7 as I personally prefer
the Dosfrotz over Winfrotz anyway.
