Hi, Was just wondering how many people play or know about these? I know Villains is up on AppleVis, but they have 6 or 7 other games that are playable as well.
For those that don't know, these are similar to the Storm8 games in a lot of ways, but minus the sound effects and with some more advanced features. Battles and missions are still lacking in details, but a lot of the games have a crafting system in place to make powerful items, companions or vehicles. There are one time use power-up items in some games that give you a boost for one battle so there's a little extra strategy involved in battles. There are also abilities to raise aside from the normal attributes that give you extra benefits. It's a lot easier to earn some of the donation currency for extra benefits, in fact sometimes you can buy a powerful donation item right out of the gate because you start with a fair amount of points for each game. Also, allies help you more in these games than in Storm8, instead of just letting you use more equipment, they actually help you unlock more abilities, missions and items. There are a few other things the Storm8 games don't have, like clans, tournaments etc, but other than that they're pretty much the same. The games work well with VoiceOver, Storm8's games tend to run a little more smoothely but these are definitely playable. The only problem right now is that you can't select a character type at the beginning of most of the games, but I'm not sure how much that actually affects gameplay and I've alerted the developers to this, so we'll see. If there's any interest, I'll post my codes for each game, I created characters in all of them. And if anyone else has characters, feel free to post your codes and I'll add you. Same goes for the Storm8 games, post your codes or ID's, I could always use more members for the various games. One final thing to keep in mind, all games are playable accept for Mighty Monsters and Bingo Pop. Mighty Monsters sounds cool, but unfortunately I think it's map-based. --- Gamers mailing list __ Gamers@audyssey.org If you want to leave the list, send E-mail to gamers-unsubscr...@audyssey.org.
