This is the gtk version I think its superior. (With the original version 
I never managed to get full screen to work at all (other than making the 
binary suid root).

This is built on snv_122 so I am not sure if it will work on 2009.06 (If 
it does not then I can build it again).

Installs to /opt/snes9x

System libraries are dynamic linked but libstdc++,libgcc and portaudio 
are static linked.

(It annoys me when to run one single application it needs me to install 
loads of dependencies in the standard system directories so if this 
works its better)
