Right, good point! :) Basically I'm going to use it from ganeti-nbma for the check-nld watcher hook. The reason for using python and EnsureDaemon rather than bash, is so that it can find daemon-util in the correct place, which is dependent on the ganeti configuration. Thanks, Guido
