Hi folks,
These two patches introduce primary_ip_{version, family} used for the
upcoming IPv6 support.
Please not that these two patches are rebased on top of two previous
(already lgtm'd) patches of mine. So I'm sending these in the spirit of
sending patches early, but will wait for 2.3 to (possibly) push.
