There's something wrong with this. The latest version of the NEWS file for 2.8 already contains a 2.8.2 section, as 2.8.2 was released a few days ago: http://git.ganeti.org/?p=ganeti.git;a=blob;f=NEWS;h=a9a8d599c52fc75ba55562e9d7b5e93a7e30168d;hb=824c61840e6e7c75300c9164606821a5038b078c Maybe the most recent 2.8 was not pulled before writing this patch?
