Just one note: when the node is marked offline it is expected to be actually off. You should either halt it, power it off, or if really impossible you can fence it off from other nodes (via iptables, for example). If drbd connections are still active, but ganeti can't talk to the node, problems are bound to rise. If drbd is still active and the instance still visible, why did you offline the node in the first place?
