Currently all paths are stored as Strings. It'd be nice to have them better
type-checked, distinguishing between files, directories, absolute and
relative paths, and especially from Strings. This package would be a good
place to start: http://hackage.haskell.org/package/pathtype
This issue is nice-to-have, it doesn't currently block anything; it'd be a
good small task for a contributor.
