New issue 768 by [email protected]: gnt-instance modify --disk
add:[...] always like --no-wait-for-sync
http://code.google.com/p/ganeti/issues/detail?id=768
What software version are you running? Please provide the output of "gnt-
cluster --version", "gnt-cluster version", and "hspace --version".
What distribution are you using?
root@node1 ~ # gnt-cluster --version
gnt-cluster (ganeti v2.9.5) 2.9.5
root@node1 ~ # gnt-cluster version
Software version: 2.9.5
Internode protocol: 2090000
Configuration format: 2090000
OS api version: 20
Export interface: 0
VCS version: v2.9.5
root@node1 ~ # hspace --version
hspace (ganeti) version v2.9.5
compiled with ghc 7.4
running on linux x86_64
root@node1 ~ # cat /etc/debian_version
7.4
root@node1 ~ # dpkg -l ganeti
[...]
ii ganeti 2.9.5-1~bpo70+1
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. create a vm with drbd-disks
2. gnt-instance modify --disk add:size=32g vm17
Modified instance vm17
- disk/1 -> add:size=32768,mode=rw
Please don't forget that most parameters take effect only at the next
(re)start of the instance initiated by ganeti; restarting from within the
instance will not be enough.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
< disk is created (no sync output)
disk is created with sync output (and option for --no-wait-for-sync)
Please provide any additional information below.
