Infuriatingly I can no longer reproduce it either; the migration happens
seamlessly. When I filed the bug it seemed to be happening consistently. So
not sure I can provide any more information at the moment, so (with regret)
this can be marked as unreproducible (though I'll update it if it happens
again!)
