I finished the changes to downloads.php on the SourceForge website that
will allow automatic upgrading of Ganglia components. It was actually a
bit more work than I expected, I had to change the structure of the
links significantly.
However, it should work now. For the developers, you can include the link
http://ganglia.sourceforge.net/downloads.php?component=<component>&version=
<myversion>
Where <component> is one of "gmetad-webfrontend | monitor-core |
gmetad | authd | gexec", and <myversion> is the local version of the
component.
If there is a newer version of that component on the site, the link to
it will be displayed.
