Hi,
I encountered one problem when trying to install Ganglia gmetad on a
linux cluster. The error message is:

$rpm -Uvh ganglia-monitor-core-gmetad-2.5.4-8.i386.rpm
error: Failed dependencies:
        librrd.so.0 is needed by ganglia-monitor-core-gmetad-2.5.4-8

The linux cluster is running redhat-9, with rrdtool 1.0.45 installed
(compiled from the source code with the --enable-shared option).

By trying to install Ganglia from source does not solve this problem.

Your help is very much appreciated.

Zhuang
