Martin,

3.0.3 compiles on cygwin (recent version), resulting in an apparently
working
gmond.exe and gmetric.exe

You have to do a "make -i" or perhaps a "make -k" to get past this:

 make[5]: Leaving directory
`/apps/ganglia-3.0.3.200604080900/srclib/confuse/examples'
Making all in tests
make[5]: Entering directory
`/apps/ganglia-3.0.3.200604080900/srclib/confuse/tests'
gcc -g -O2 check_confuse.c -o check_confuse
check_confuse.c:2:21: confuse.h: No such file or directory
check_confuse.c:10: error: parse error before '*' token
make[5]: [check_confuse] Error 1 (ignored)
make[5]: Leaving directory
`/apps/ganglia-3.0.3.200604080900/srclib/confuse/tests'

I didn't work out why, as I got my binaries anyway by forcing the make.

regards,
Richard
