There is still one more backport proposal in the STATUS file to be reviewed. 
 This is not a complicated patch, it is basically just making sure that we use 
the right time stamp when trying to determine if the host is up or down.

* Use the lastheardfrom timestamp from the value packet rather than the 
metadata packet 
     to calculate the time offset for the metric.  We are more interested in 
the last 
     value we got rather than the last time the metadata was received.
