Two things:
1) Have you tried using gmond-debug to debug the inbound packets?

2) I'm noticing that the metrics names still have periods in them. That
should be cleaned out by Ganglia, but I'm not sure. Try running Ganglia
with debug cranked up instead of in daemon mode to see if it reports errors
in the packets coming in.
That should give us an idea of what's going on.
