Thanks for the prompt response. Attached is the output you requested.

Please note: I modified mach_type_func() in gmond/machines/linux-alpha.c to
identify alpha as well as x86 and ia64.

I have two systems running for testing purposes - one is an ia32 and the
other is an alpha. ganglia version 2.2 is working fine on the ia32 box. I
get the error I'm reporting on the alpha. The final environment will NOT be
heterogeneous - it will be either alphas or intel but not both.
