Has anyone had luck getting ganglia running on slackware 8.0? I'm using inetd instead of xinetd, and I can't get gexec to talk to any of my nodes. Nor can I get telnet localhost 8649 to connect. I've installed the authd, gmond, and gexecd daemons on the nodes, but I after I only see gmond running.
gexecd gives me the error [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/etc/rc.d/init.d# Bind error on TCP socket on port 2875 gexec gives me the error [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/etc/rc.d/init.d# gexec -n 1 hostname Could not connect to bee1.umd.edu (192.168.1.101) Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
