Did you have a solution for me ????

I'd like the web-frontend sort my nodes by their utilities (ex
production(node1,node2,node3) qualification (node4,node5,node6)

What do I have to modify to perform that ????

Is ganglia the good product for that ????

A (fake) Frenchman recently said that the "why" is all that mattered... :D

It also communicates with everyone on the same multicast IP. This is
basically just how multicast works, insofar as an application has to
send a packet to a specific address and has to listen on a specific
address in order to get a response.

I kept different clusters on different multicast IPs, just 'cause.
Using the same port would have been possible but since 8649 is the
ganglia port, I could see the utility in keeping that there for network
filtering purposes further down the line...

Something tells me it's time to update the examples...

Eh, nobody wants to do that. We'll just end up rewriting it again when
the next version comes out...

The customer's always right! :)
