Assuming you're talking about gmond, you can set the interface in
gmond.conf with the mcast_if option...although I've been running Ganglia
for three years or so, and I've never had to use this.  It's always
picked the correct interface for us.  What's your OS version, Ganglia
version, etc, etc?

There's plenty of people on this list (including Ganglia developers),
but it's usually low traffic...people have probably been gone for the
holidays.

Right now its possible even use an interface which is down.

Our eth0 isn't even running and ganglia insists on using it until I 
specify eth1 (which seems like a pain).
