Hi Team,

I am trying to configure ganglia with gmetad by using the command

./configure --with-gmetad

The command works fine as I have installed the rrd tool in the correct
place and included the "rrd.h" and "librrd.a" in the correct places (i
dont get any errors that ganglia must be used with rrdtool as I have taken
care of that).

I successfully used "make" and "make install" commands. But I am not able
to see the "gmetad" under "/etc/init.d" or "/etc/rc.d/init.d". I am able
to see only "gmond". Thus I am not able to start "gmetad". I am able to
start only the "gmond" which is of no use without the "gmetad" running.

I am little surprised by this problem. Any comments?? Please help me.

Thanks and Regards
