I restarted our cluster because a network interface was acting odd and
now our ganglia will not work.  I believe the problem is related to
gmond.  It is running at about 20% of a processor, and the head node
spits out data to the port very quickly.  

Anyway beyond the high gmond problem listed above. My other symptoms
are:

Error message on web pages:

Cannot find any metrics for selected cluster "computation cluster",
exiting.
Check ganglia XML tree (telnet 127.0.0.1 8652)

Typing ganglia at the prompt never fishes and has to be cleared with a
CTRL-C.   There seems to be a large amount of multicast traffic.

Any Clues?
