I had gmond running and reporting to my gmetad server. I tried to installed the aixdisk.conf file against some hdiskpower's. When I restarted my lpars and my gmetad server, this machine stopped reporting to the gmetad. I have 2 other machines that are reporting just fine to the reporting server, just this one server fell off. So, I put the original aixdisk.conf file back and restarted again. Still nothing.
I can do a tcpdump of the interface and see that my client is sending to the
reporting server. I can also see that the reporting server is receiving the
data. However, It just seems that the reporting gmetad server is not doing
anything with the data.
