Good points. I think that even integrating Vim with Swank via a Perl interface is boardering on the upper scale of a Gardeners project right now. I'm game for attempting to embed a Lisp (or maybe a Scheme?) into Vim - but not until after SLIM-Vim (really like that name!) is pretty well grown.
