Hi Peter. I would have wished for something in between 2 and 3, but that sounds a bit unrealistic. :-(
What I would definitely like is some editorial review because I feel we are competing with, for example, the Java tutorial, which has set an extremely high standard to compete with. For this first try, I've chosen option #3, precisely because I value editorial control. The bad thing of course, is that I'm not that great a writer (I'm not even English native). So, I would be glad to see my role as providing and organising drafts for some more tutorials to come, with the understanding that the final version would be edited to the Highest Gardener Standard. http://lisp.jfb-city.co.uk/tutorials/svc/s-http-server.html Since I keyed in directly in html, there is no "source" other than what already is in your browser. All this to say that I'm expecting comments on the contents (what did I forget?, what is ambiguous? how about X or Y), but that I'd gladly delegate the precise wording, English accuracy, and flow of the thoughts to ...
