(Just switched to normal mode after reading digest mode for a week or so) I've been a Unix systems administrator for going on ten years now, primarily Solaris on Sun hardware but I'll manage anything as long as my employer's paychecks clear. 8-) Sun-certified systems and network admin, and I got my RHCE cert in November '04.
As a hobby, for the past eight years I've run SUNHELP.ORG, an information portal (along with a few huge mailing lists) for Sun hardware and the OSes that run on it. I've also been the administrator for the Sun Managers mailing list since 2001, and recently took over hosting and maintenance of Celeste Stokley's UNIX Serial Port and UNIX Systems Admin resource pages. I've been fascinated by LispM's for years now (primarily after reading Ralf Moeller's pages), and recently "seriously" got into Lisp (and finally switched from vi to emacs) after picking up the Practical Common Lisp book, reading through a few chapters, and realizing "Hey, I *like* this!" I recently posted a list of Lisp books and information my weblog. It got so many hits that I turned it into stand-alone web site - http://www.lispmachine.net. Any suggestions for additions/changes/etc are greatly appreciated. In short, I'm here because I hope to learn something new.
