As far as I know, the only moderation the CLD plans to do is spam
avoidance.

The Common Lisp Directory administrators are:

- Paolo Amoroso
- Marc Battyani
- Pascal Costanza (warming up at the side of the playing field)
- Arthur Lemmens
- Edi Weitz

I think that CLD provides some value over a Google search by
collecting together some information that may not be readily available
even by checking a project site, such as which additional software is
required, where is the source tree repository, which Lisps and
operating systems the software runs on, etc. While submitting several
CLD entries, I had to dig a bit for collecting this info. I hope to
spare users some time.

I think that this kind of opinion is in scope. Do you mean something
like the kind of descriptions or notes/comments in these entries?

I appreciate your--and everybody else's--feedback.
