I'm willing to help. Besides the listed packages
Iterate, CL-PPCRE, Anaphora and/or Arnesi (...), SPLIT-SEQUENCE, SLIME, CL-FAD, trivial-sockets, trivial-http, bordeaux-threads, puri, net-telent-date we might also consider mining the CMU utilities, CLOCC, paserve. I'd suggest putting a lot of effort into a good umbrella set of APIs and (sub)module names. Even though it probably would constitute a lot of work, I would prefer to structure things with some sort of hierarchical name space scheme. com.lispniks.regexp.cl-ppcre helps an awful lot in figuring out what CL-PPCRE might be. Besides an ASDF interface, I'd like to see a "load this file to compile and load all" master file for the training-wheels crowd and/or developing quick hacks in a malconfigured Lisp setup.
