Hi,

I noticed a strange behavior of my Lisp interpreter.

I have two machines, an Intel Pentium4 at 1.6GHz (single core, bought
six years ago) and an Intel Core duo quad (SMP) al 2.83 GHz.

Both of them run SBCL on a Debian Lenny, but I discovered that the
program I am writing in Lisp is slower on the latter machine, which
*should* be faster!!

Maybe this id due to the fact that the standard Debian package of SBCL
is compiled for single core CPUs?

Any idea?
