OK, just figured I'd point it out, since you tried both. :) > > Luis, if you can reproduce this, > > I can. Please read the README, carefully. You will not be able to use the build installed inside /root anyway, without severely compromising your systems security. > make[12]: Entering directory > `/root/tmp/garnome-2.18.3/freedesktop/dbus/work/main.d/dbus-1.0.2/doc' > /usr/bin/xmlto html-nochunks dbus-faq.xml > I/O error : Attempt to load network entity > http://www.gnome.org/~jdub/garnome/packages.css > warning: failed to load external entity > "http://www.gnome.org/~jdub/garnome/packages.css" > compilation error: file /tmp/xmlto-xsl.B8rKzM line 4 element import > xsl:import : unable to load http://www.gnome.org/~jdub/garnome/packages.css > cp: cannot stat `/tmp/xmlto.BrBcdL/dbus-faq.proc': No such file or directory > make[12]: *** [dbus-faq.html] Error 1 Hrm, strange... Luis, can you reproduce this very issue when building as a regular user, too? > make[1]: Leaving directory `/root/tmp/garnome-2.18.3/admin' > make: *** [paranoid-install] Error 2 Also, you most likely do not want *everything* GARNOME provides. From the above it seems you started the build in the top level build dir. Rather than that, the usual way is to build desktop/ only first, and building handpicked additional apps after that. Can you reproduce this issue when starting a build in desktop/, too? > It shows less messages as it has because this time I didn't a make > clean before make paranoid-install.
