If you are compressing the gas containing Nitrogen, then Nitrogen can be
removed using "Pressure Swing Adsorption" utilizing a suitable molecular Sieve
such as 6A perhaps. A PSA system is a relatively simple to construct, the
process should yield 85-90 % efficiency

You can use O2 instead of air to inject in your gasifier:)

It seems difficult to take aways all N2 in the producer gas....

Dear List,
e are already using, in India, wood gas made from agricultural waste
o run stationary internal combustion engines. But, for using it as
utomobile fuel, it would have to be filled into cylinders, for which
he nitrogen in the wood gas would have to be removed in order to
educe its bulk and to increase its calorfiic value. Does anybody have
suggestion as to how this can be achieved?
