Hi Jeff I would like to ask you if what you are referring to "char" is actual charcoal or is it actually coal. I am building a wood gasifier with an eye on a coal gasifier. I think the only way to do it is "fireballs" and have seen some reference to this on these forums. I am not sure if their reference to there charcoal is actually coal. Could you enlighten me?
