Someone on this list a while ago mentioned a great tool called HOMER
which can be used to optimise multiple renewables electricity systems.
The tool as it stands doesn't handle thermal storage and retrieval. I've
raised this with the HOMER support team who agree that this would be a
useful feature but can't promise when it will be available. I can cobble
something together using HOMER and a hand-rolled optimisation solution
but this is not ideal.
Perhaps someone on this list might know of something available?
