Very good.

1. I am glad Tebow is not having to take a pounding.  My biggest fear is Tebow getting hurt and missing a game or having to play hurt.

2. If our defene played this good last year - it would have meant at least 2 more wins last year - possible 3, hard to backup a case for all four

3. I also favor red shirting most freshmen - unless they come in early (for spring) and unless we have substantial need. BUt I think you and I are in the mnority on that.

4. On the replays of Carl Moore on the sideline - you can see what appears to be a "divot" AFTER Moore's play.  I assume it was made my Moore's elbow.  The divot is in bounds.

5. I think Miami should be more worried about their conduct, morales, values, etc before I am worried about ours.  We are not the ones with a horrible reputation - they and FSU are.

6. What is with Moody?  Spring he looks horrible, then we hear he is absolutely fabulous, then he is a no show.

7. Where is Carlos Dunlap? After spring game I thought he was going to be Freak part 2.

8. I appreciate Brandon James doing anything and everything to help this team.  Hope the NFL scouts see something that gets him in the NFL.

1. I'm thrilled with our defense. Hawaii's 10 points came against our
scrubs. Our First Team has given up a total of 3 points in two games
against non-cupcakes. And those came on a 51-yard field goal; hardly
a gimme. Last year Ohio State led the NCAA giving up 12.6 points a
game, we are at 6.5.

2. Wondy may not start again. He was pulled pretty fast after a blown
coverage early in the game. Janoris Jenkins (true freshman) came in
and played the rest of the game. I suspect he is there to stay.

3. I would redshirt Demps. I don't deny his speed and talent, but we
already have two of those guys; James and Rainey (and, arguably,
Harvin). I don't see that we will run enough of plays where it makes
sense to burn Demps' redshirt.

4. Despite claims to the contrary, we are definitely using TT less in
running situations. Against UM, we had a 2nd and 1 on about the 6.
2nd down was an incomplete pass, and 3rd was a hand-off to Moore.
Neither picked up the 1st Down. At any point over the last two years,
it would have been TT left, TT right, TT up the middle.

5. RUTS. There was 1:04 left on the clock after the 3rd Down run
(which lost 4 yards). Would it have been less sportsmanlike to go for
the first down (and possibly score a TD)? Less sportsmanlike to punt
from the 11? Should we have taken a delay of game penalty, and then
when forced to hike the ball with 24 seconds left, flopped down on
the field? Heck, I like that last option a lot.

6. RUTS II: The reason that that the 3rd down play lost yards was
that every Miami defender was between the tackles. It seems a little
hypocritical for a defense to stack the box, and then complain that
the offense didn't run the ball up the middle to run out the clock.

7. Louis Murphy should have made the "U" symbol with his hands when
he scored his second touchdown (even if it was called back).
Seriously, if this was the worst smack talk that any player on either
team stated, then it is a sad state of affairs. That was about the
mildest criticism ever leveled. Every single University in the
country has the initial "U." To think that your school is unique
because it has the initial "U" is about as moronic as Ohio State
getting excited that it uses the word "the" in its name. I suspect
that UM emphasizes the "U" because 1. it is not located in Miami, and
2. there is already a school in a town in Ohio named Miami that is
older than UM, has more students than UM, and could probably beat
them in a game. Now that's real smack.

8. Speaking of Ohio State, was I the only person that noticed that
its commercial featured fans spelling out the word "Ohio" during a
game where its team was playing the University of Ohio? That would be
like our fans spelling out "Georgia" while playing the mangy mutts.
That's pretty imbecilic as well.

9. I still don't like it when we wear all-blue.
