Hey, that is one of my "bucket" life goals, to live long enough for the
Gators to get ahead in the series against all the SEC teams.
Does anyone know how many games we need to win versus the other SEC
teams? I think we can even it up against Ole Miss this Saturday.
Fran

It will take 9 games to even the series.

Oliver

Actually, I think it is somewhere around 10 to 15.

I recall an interview with SOS many years ago when he was our HBC. At the
time, we were behind by 15. The interviewer asked him if he planned to stick
around until the series was evened. He replied "I don't know. Fifteen years
is a long time."

I laughed out loud. He was obviously thinking he would beat them every year.
He sure came close.

I know why.. because even though we have owned them in the 90's... the
overall Ga-Fla series is handily in UGAlys favor... by like 20 or 30 I
think. I forget the exact count... but if you only count the last 20
years... (which we shouldn't completely) UF owns pretty handily.

I wont relax until the overall series is reversed. Hope Im around that
long.

Give me comfortable bordom anytime. I have enough stress in my life.

Shoot, even back in the '90s when we were crushing UGAly every year, I still
woke up in the middle of the night before the game worrying. Just too many
ghosts to exorcise, and too many insults from illiterate inbreds.

Let's enjoy these good times. Unfortunately, Tennessee and F$U won't be
applying for admission to the Ivy League (not that they would ever get in).
They'll be good again someday, and I'll be back to biting my nails every
game.

Go Gators!!!!

I have always taken more pleasure in beating the noles than any other team
including UGA (sorry, Oliver), but IMHO, it has become boring to pound them
every year and for them not to fight back. I say let 'em get up and we'll
knock 'em back down. Are you worried they'll get up and stay up?

We're talking about holes - I mean - noles. One of the two (Miami being the
other) lyingest, cheatingest, dirtyist, schools this side of the
Mississippi.

I take great pride in playing a clean game by the rules - and beating the
crap out of them - when they cheat and can not field a decent team.

I say - extend Bowdens contract 20 more years. Keep proping him up - even
after he dies. They can put a tape player inside him that says "you have
a great moma", "he's a great boy", blah, blah, blah

Personally, I think I'd like a change. I'm tired of kicking them around. I
want them to get up so we can knock them down again. It's no fun for them to
just lay there...

I hope this is not the end - Bobby Bowden staying as the head coach at FSU
is the best thing for us and all their other opponents!

F$U goes down in Flames! 12-3.

JoePa regains the all time win lead.

Is this the end?
