It's completely different in my mind, if Shane is discussing play-calling and offensive schemes. Those are totally fair game. I just don't think he should single out players for personal criticism, especially one who gives everything he has like Tim. If your interpretation is correct, then I'd have no problem with it. Perhaps Andreu is just stirring the pot to raise his reader numbers. Anyway, I didn't hear it myself, so I'll just shut up now. J

IMO, the numbers don't matter. Shane's a Gator and Tim's a Gator. Shane, of all people should know how difficult Tim's role is and he shouldn't be disrespecting him. period. In all kinds of weather. My read of the comments was not so much a criticism of TT as it was our play-calling and offensive scheme. A sub-text might be Shane's perceived loyalty to SOS and the downfield passing game and, therefore, an implied criticism of UMIII. I thought Andreu's comments attributing the comments to jealousy to be both misguided and factually incorrect, as I'm pretty sure that adding Shane's 1992 bowl game to his stats puts him ahead of TT's passing yardage last year. I realize that TT did so much more than throw the ball last year, I am just trying to see if Andreu's facts are correct. -Zeb --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ GATORS: ONE VOICE ON SATURDAY - NO VOICE ON SUNDAY! 1996 National Football Champions | 2006 National Basketball Champions 2006 National Football Champions | 2007 National Basketball Champions Three Heisman Trophy winners: Steve Spurrier (1966), Danny Wuerffel (1996), Tim Tebow (2007) - Visit our website at www.gatornet.us -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
