Many predict Stafford will be the first pick in the draft. Woody (via wireless)

Georgia goes on and on about a few mistakes and a few bad plays. Yeah - take away the four turnovers (which I look at as our defense is better than their offense) and take away the 7 touchdowns - and yes - they win the game! I also got tired of hearing about Stafford being so great - when his stats are so bad. Someone was talking about Stafford for Heisman?!?! Were they kidding? I don't have the facts - but it seems Stafford throws more interceptions in the SEC than Peyton Manning did. Then again Peyton went on to be a successful NFL QB - so perhaps this means that Stafford will be better than Peyton in the NFL? -------- Original Message -------- Subject: [gatortalk] Georgia mistakes From: "Oliver Barry" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Mon, November 03, 2008 7:10 am To: <gatortalk@googlegroups.com> Were they mistakes, or were they caused by the Gators? 1. The head slap by Jarius Wynn that nullified the Prince Miller interception. That was pretty stupid, but what caused it? It was the UF line that was beating their defensive line completely. We were moving the ball rapidly down the field at that point and Wynn was doing all he could to get past our guy. 2. The failed onside kick. Another stupid call by Richt, but mistake? Richt himself said after the game he was afraid to kick off to Brandon James. That's why he tried the onsides kick. Of course, it was no accident that Butch Rowley, Florida's long snapper was there to field it. You could give Brandon credit for another long return. It had the same effect. 3. Joe Haden's interception. Florida had shut down Know-Show! There was no Georgia running game. They had to pass to be able to move the ball. So, all our D-backs had to do was lurk around waiting for that NFL quarter back to throw it to them. Mr. NFL had 3 picks on the afternoon. 4. Terron Sanders' fumble return. Now what caused Knowshon to fumble? I would refer you to Brandon Spikes' first tackle of the game. Knowshon was afraid for his life by that point. He sure wasn't concentrating on the football by that point. The Gators played a complete game Saturday. It was a beautiful thing to watch them completely dismantle Georgia. I just wish we could have scored a few more points on them. :-) Oliver --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ GATORS: ONE VOICE ON SATURDAY - NO VOICE ON SUNDAY!
