I sorta wanted him to win, but in a more realistic sense, I didn't. And this is why...In the last decade Heisman winners are 2&6, win-loss, in their bowl games. To date, the Heisman winners are on a 3-game losing streak with Reggie Bush losing in '05, Troy Smith losing to the Mighty Gators in '06 and our beloved TT losing (embarassingly) to Michigan last year. So now Bradford has to overcome the jinx of Heisman losers in the final game of what will likely be the last game of his college career. And on that note, I hope TT not winning tonight will encourage him to return next year for the eluded undefeated season and his 2nd Heisman with a win in his bowl game, which would hopefully be for a national championship.
The fact that TT received the most 1st place votes, but Bradford won the most districts means the voting for Heisman is as messed up as the BCS. I really don't think the defenses in the Big 12 are as strong as in the SEC and that's why OU was able to have the most points scored by a college team in history for a season. Plus, we all know they needed the style points to move up in the BCS and beat out Texas Tech and Texas for the South championship. I really don't think they'll score 60+ points on the Gators!!! ON TO MIAMI AND GO GATORS !!!!!!
