You'll never believe this. I met Eric Zeier's wife, Carrie at
a Real Estate class on Tuesday. She was telling someone about her husband who
played quarterback for Georgia and I interrupted with who is he? She told me
and I commented that I remembered him.
Then I told her I remembered him because I'm a Gator. She
nearly fainted.
We talked about the games he played in and I talked about how
much I enjoyed the mud game when Earnest Graham ran all over them. (or was
that E.Rhett?)
She, of course remembered the one time they beat us when he was
there.
He's now the color commentator for their radio broadcasts.
They live in Brentwood. She's the epitome of the fancy dressed, big haired,
bejeweled Realtor. Yech!!!
She said she rooted for the Gators when we played OK for the
NC, begrudgingly because Eric said she should. After all, we're Gator
brethren, etc.
I didn't tell her I rooted for MichiganState, and Alabama, and
Georgia Tech, and everybody else those evil slime buckets played this year...
Well, anyway, I kept it civil.
