FYI-For those who thought/hoped that the UF endowment might have been spared in the market meltown-- For the last half of 2008 (which was the first half of UF's fiscal year), the UF endowment investment pool lost 18.96%. UF points out that the loss is not as bad as that suffered by Harvard's endowment which was down 22% according to a report in the Wall Street Journal.
