I invited one of my daughter's boyfriends (back in early 90's) to go target
shooting with me. He asked if we were going to shoot clay pigeons. I said "We?
No, I will shoot while you run frantically across the field waving your arms
and squawking like a wild turkey". I never saw him again. :)

I have plenty of cutlery lying about. The other night I got home from work
and two high school guys were in the garage with my wife and daughter Laura.
Laura asked if I remembered their names and I shrugged my shoulders, said no,
and went inside to change. When I returned, I told them that I did indeed
remember their names: Dead and Next. They looked a bit perplexed. Laura asked
if I was going to kill both of them and I responded “just one—you can kill the
other”. These kids need to know that just because Mr. Jay is cool and a nice
guy, he’s also a bit crazy. Works for me!
