Speaking of interceptions, I was at the game and when they did a replay of
the Tenn interception, it looked like it skipped on the ground. For someone
watching on TV, did they replay it from a lot of angles and did it skip on
the ground?

Yeah, at the time, I was yelling, 'no, don't catch it. bat it down!', but
then I realized it didn't matter since we didn't have enough time for a
drive even with a shorter field. But what's strange to me is reading all of
these articles talking about Black "ending the Vols' comeback bid" with his
interception like we were about to be beaten if he hadn't caught it. I know
they want to make it sound exciting but it was 4th down with just a few
seconds left with us holding a two-possession lead. The game wasn't in
danger and the interception didn't save us from anything. If anything, it
was a bit bone-headed. I trust the coaches, at least, will ask Black to be
more aware of the larger game going on around him in the future and to not
intercept downfield passes on 4th down. At another point in the game, it
could have made a difference.

We were talking that same point in the stands. Black's INT cost us about 25
yards of feld position - that thankfully, we didn't need.

I saw something completely odd happen that not one of the announcers caught.

When we intercepted Crompton at the end of the game, they were lined up on
their 49 yard line with 4th & 6. We intercepted him on our 25 yard line. I'm
thinking we should've just batted it down instead of catching it, but I
realize in the heat of the moment, you don't think clearly.

I just thought it was odd that the announcers didn't mention that.
