My thought is they play Demps and Rainey because they have the ability to
break the big gain, IF they can get to and through the hole quickly enough.
This actually helps dispel the myth that Urban and Co. are happy with long
boring drives that eat up the clock. They would be happier if Demps could
take one of these dive plays and go 60 yards. If they were really
interested in 12-15 play drives, they would use Moody more.

As I say this, I don't have anything against Demps and Rainey, I just think
we are utilizing them in the wrong way. It is okay to run them between the
tackles occasionally to keep the defense honest, but it shouldn't be their
staple.

I'm with you - but other people are convinced that James, Demps and Rainey
break tackles at the line of scrimmage better than Moody, Chris Scott and
Gillislee.

I am all for using all the tools in the toolbox.

but then WHY...please somebody educate me WHY are we not using a
bigger-bodied Moody? WHY?

[I am sure somebody will say we don't know and we will never know because
there is a media black out...but I am not going to be satisfied with that
answer!!! :-) ]

Actually, Moody is leading in average yards per carry...

Demps 44 attempts, 390 yards 8.9 per carry
Tebow 72 attempts, 309 yards 4.3 per carry
Rainey 35 attempts 272 yards 7.8 per carry
Moody 24 attempts 230 yards 9.6 per carry

Also, Moody is the only running back that has yet to be tackled for a loss.

Lot's of good points. Yes, Pick'em is a dumb game. I'm never playing
again!
Demps is getting the ball more because he's averaging 7 yards a carry.
Moody is averaging 3 or 4.
We're playing a conservative offense because it's working. We don't have to
rack up lots of points. Our defense only allowed 3 points Saturday. There
have only been 2 touchdowns scored on us all season. And those were both
late in the game when we didn't care if they scored.

- Why can't we see Moody get more touches? I thought this was the perfect
game for that to happen, but on 3rd and short he is on the side...
