The one that has hurt more is Patrick Patterson. He probably would
have been a Gator but for Donovan's flirtation with the Magic.
He has played 3 years, been a solid All-SEC pick, and would have
helped anchor both the Speights year and those since where we have
lacked consistency and leadership at the center/power forward position.
With continued success, we might have been able to pull in Bledsoe
last year. It was down to the wire on him. We would have had a heck
of a team if you add Patterson and Bledsoe to us and subtract them
from UK.

absolutely be a one and done and as such wanted assurances from his
coach that he would be a starter and have x minutes of playing
time. Billy D was never and will never promise any player minimum
playing time much less a starting role. Meanwhile, Gillespie has
made a career out of one and dones.
