I loved driving that Porsche. I wish my dad still had it. I think my brother
and I had it up to 140 before we chickened out and slowed down, but it really
didn't seem like we were going that fast... there was still plenty of speed
left that we didn't get to. LOL.
I used to get my little Mercury Capri up to 120 before it felt scary, but I was
young and stupid then. I'd probably let go of the steering wheel and cover my
face with my hands if I went that fast now.
And now that I drive a minivan, I don't think I've had it up even to 100 yet.
I did drive my old Windstar 105 for a few miles between a client's house and
the hospital one night about 3 AM, but that was because there was a laboring
woman in the back seat threatening to push her baby out *in* my Windstar as I
drove up I-95. That wasn't my fault!

Nice, Cee! I've had my current car (RX-8) up to 155 but was white knuckled
and ass-puckered. On the other hand, I've had the wife's SUV north of 120mph
and it felt as smooth and solid as going 60 (I guess they build those European
cars like that for a reason : ). All this talk is making me miss going to the
track!!
