I loved driving that Porsche. I wish my dad still had it. I think my brother and I had it up to 140 before we chickened out and slowed down, but it really didn't seem like we were going that fast... there was still plenty of speed left that we didn't get to. LOL.I used to get my little Mercury Capri up to 120 before it felt scary, but I was young and stupid then. I'd probably let go of the steering wheel and cover my face with my hands if I went that fast now.And now that I drive a minivan, I don't think I've had it up even to 100 yet. I did drive my old Windstar 105 for a few miles between a client's house and the hospital one night about 3 AM, but that was because there was a laboring woman in the back seat threatening to push her baby out *in* my Windstar as I drove up I-95. Attached is a photo of my new Gator Toy. I've been wanting one of these
very badly for many years, so it was very exciting for me to finally get one
fo these bad boys. I am able to join a very elite group of Gator fans here
in TN by proudly displaying our Gator pride on the back of our cars in all
kinds of weather, enjoying the pissed off stares and head shakes from all of
the Vols fans. I wanted to share my joy with you guys, because other than
Oliver, my wife, and my kids, no one else seems to be able to enjoy it. :-)
My Dad even just shook his head in disbelief. I told him that if they lose
a big game, I can't take it off my car like some fans do. To me, it's the
next closest thing to a tattoo, for a guy who will never consider one. :-)
