In retrospect, it would have been foolish for Coach O'Sullivan to jeopardize his team's health and fitness by trying to win this tournament. It means nothing to UF since we have already been selected to host a Regional NCAA Tournament site at the Mc. The Regional starts next Friday at McKethan Stadium.
With that in mind, his use of freshman pitcher Brian Johnson in Wednesday's opener and starting recovering pitcher Tommy Toledo in today's game make sense.
