I would mostly agree.. but these are also (usually) ppl who try to txt as if they normally would (vs peck letter check road repeat..this way your not taking your eyes off any longer than if you were to check to see if you have the clear to change langes.. and even then you still have your peripheral vision). Before I got my iphone i could text without taking my eyes off the road because I could feel the keys (knowing where they are). Obviously its not as easy now.
